The Religious Right is Neither

What do I mean? 

Would Jesus favor gun-control? 

Would Jesus favor Obamacare? 

Would Jesus favor food stamps for the poor?

Would Jesus favor continual war with other countries?

Would Jesus favor the American Medical Association spending $291 million last year alone to lobby Congress for better treatment?

So-called Christian conservatives favor none of these!

The non-thinking Christian conservatives favor whatever FOX News and Rush Limbaugh tell them.  And of course they only favor big business.

In the United States there are 100,000 shootings and 34,000 deaths every year from guns. And yet the NRA has them convinced that guns are good.

The U. S. House of Representatives has voted 41 times to overturn Obamacare and yet they call themselves Christians.

Conservatives don’t believe in climate change.

Conservatism is the way of the past; liberalism is the way of the future.
