How to Understand Reality
We perceive the human body as one thing. However, it is made up of trillions of atoms and cells. The human body is 90% virus and bacteria cells, and only 10% human cells.
Suppose a bacteria cell gained consciousness, and was able to navigate the human body. Suppose it could tap into the optic nerve, and actually see outside the body.
As it is now, all bacteria and virus cells cannot do this. They have no idea they are part of a bigger structure.
Maybe the cosmos is also one large being, and we are just one cell in that. We can’t see outside of it in this scenario. We would be more akin to a virus, since we destroy everything we touch. We are now taking our first tentative steps into the cosmos. Suppose this world is nothing more than a cell in the body of the cosmos.
When I see a football stadium full of fans, I see endorphins being created in the brains of the patrons. Suppose these endorphins are then transferred to other places in the universe; to be used in the body of the cosmos. How would we know? Are we creating medicine for the cosmos?
The idea here is that we were created to serve the cosmos, and the cosmos was not created for us.
The cosmos has a 13.82 billion year head start on us. We need to start thinking outside the box.
Opinions are a lazy mind’s facts.
What are our oldest questions? What are we? Where did we come from? And where are we going? For the first time in human history these questions are now answerable.
We are made of exploded stardust, and are the universe itself coming to consciousness.
