Can You Prove Me Wrong about Backwards?

Backwards:  how the human race “sees” things.  Let’s start with your eyes.  The eyes are our primary sense for understanding our world.  More space is allotted for sight in our brains than any sense.  However, the eyes “see” objects upside-down, and your brain “turns” the image right-side-up. This is just the start of how we see things upside-down  or “backwards”.                                        

To truly understand our existence we must first see our shared past. The cosmos is 13.7 billion years young.  You always hear the universe is 13.7 billion years old.  This is another backwards statement.  The last atoms will survive for 100 trillion years.  So the universe is actually young.  Stars, planets, moons, comets, asteroids and we are all made of atoms.  Atoms are all on average 98% empty space.  This is another way we are backwards in our understanding of reality.  The strong and weak nuclear forces are what hold atoms, the planet and us together. Why is this important?  This reveals the fact that we do not “see” reality.  We must literally change our minds. You can do this.  How?  By opening your mind to new ideas.  Later I will show you shortcuts to learning.  These will include the law of diminishing returns, the 360 circle and the wave.
 
When I was a six year old child, I heard my parents and relatives talking about fallout shelters and fear of an attack day or night.  And at school we had to duck, dodge and hide (under our desks.)  I am striving for the day when all children all over the world hear this:  Children, turn on your iPads and pull up pictures of the human race. This the most important lesson you will learn. We are all ancestors of the 2000 humans that survived the volcanic eruption, Toba, in 74,000 b.c.  The humans of the past foolishly squandered their time and energy on wars and the pursuit of possessions. Our small genetic differences make us all special.  Our skin color . Our sex our sexual orientation all make us unique.  It is our birthright and our duty (to both the past and future to work for the betterment of all mankind.  And by the way, isn’t mankind backwards?

I pledge allegiance to the human race and the reality for which we stand.  I pledge to resist racism, homophobia and sexism in all forms.  I pledge to help others without expecting a reward.  With liberty and justice for all. And to the cosmos from whence we came.

Imagine yourself driving down a city block.  Any block, any city.  What do you see?  Do you space it out?  Your eyes and mind see it all, so why not focus on the wonders of your trip?  Your brain has the pathways to automatically take you that block.  Think of what you’re missing!  The squirrel gracefully scaling the branches of the tree, the elderly woman sweeping the sidewalk, the new mother proudly walking her child, and thousands of other sights and sounds.  The lesson here is to flow on positive ripples of the wave!  What do I mean?  The very act of looking and seeing and remembering will form new connections in your brain.  You will be able to traverse this block safely and behold the beauty of the cosmos at the same time.  Your mind can exponentially increase the understanding of life and the universe itself!  This is just one of the tricks you can use to better your life.  This can also slow down time.  Time is relative.  You can speed up or slow down the perception of time.  Watch a clock for the next minute.  It will seem longer than a minute.  Think about it.  Time goes buy fast when you’re having a good time;  while time goes too slow when you’re having a bad time.  This is the perception of time.  You can use this trick to improve your day or your life!

The thoughts I never had. This is what people do.  They do not think ideas through.  Most Americans are against health care reform. And yet this was Jesus’ main idea.  Christian conservatives are NRA members and are against gun control, even though their Bible states “vengeance is mine sayeth the lord.”  And the U.S. averages 14,000 handgun murders a year.  The Bible calls people sheep. I call them non-thinking sheep. 

I’m losing my tolerance for intolerant people.

I was speaking with a local banker, and he asked why I named my business Cosmos.  I explained  that cosmos is a Greek term for understanding the universe.  He asked why do you need to know this?  I explained that to know the universe is to know our past and our future.  He said all I need is God.  I asked him what he thought about health care reform?  He is strongly against it.  To which I replied that this was Jesus’ main idea, so he was against Jesus.  Jesus was also against usury and he is a banker. I informed him that I could enlighten him what reality is.  His answer was “I don’t want to know the truth!” 

Christian conservatives, Republicans and other non-thinking, selfish groups are dangerous for the future of civilization.  They worship Ronald Reagan.  What did he do?  He quadrupled our national debt in 8 years.  The debt ceiling was raised 17 times in 8 years.  He raised taxes 11 times in 8 years.  And I bet none of these conservatives know these facts!  The debt ceiling was raised 8 times under their hero, G.W. Bush.  And now that we need to raise it under President Obama it is a national tragedy.  These tea party types are anti-gay, anti-black, and anti-anyone who doesn’t believe in their particular God.  Religion is against using your mind to its full potential.  They need non-thinking sheep for their fraud to flourish.  This leads to short-sighted decision making and intolerance!  And of course this is backwards thinking!

Dennis Leary said, “Don’t eat the tuna fish! Why not! Dolphins are getting caught in the fishing nets! What about the tuna? Fuck them they taste good!” This is how humans see the world, and why not! The bible says God gave man dominion over the animals. This is another backwards idea from a backwards book. If you can call a “book” a collection of short stories that were composed by hundreds of authors. These “wise” men never met Jesus or heard from God. They knew that the world was flat! They knew the Mediterranean area was the world. They knew the earth was the absolute center of the universe. This backwards non -thinking is alive in this “enlightened”age. Our high priests are responsible for this backwards non-thinking. Their jobs are more important than the truth! It is now provable where our solar system came from. It is now provable where the earth came from. It is now provable where the atoms that make all life come from. The mystery is why we  won’t accept these facts! Or is it? 150,000 years ago the human race came to consciousness. We saw people dying and this frightened us. The brain does not deal well with this overwhelming reality, so we invented deities and eventually gods (over 4000). The time has come for humans to evolve to a new state of mind. Not just “truth, justice and the American way” but truth, justice and the human way. The bottom line is “we are the universe itself coming to consciousness” and to understand the universe is to understand yourself.  

I was discussing “Obomacare” with a nice lady. She was emphatically against it!  I asked, “Why?” She replied, “The Bible says God helps those who help themselves.”  I explained that this quote was not in the Bible! She said, “You don’t know the bible. I do!” I explained that this a quote from Ben Franklin.  Another quote from Franklin was “lighthouses are more helpful than churches!”  Of course, she scolded me for not knowing what I was talking about. This shows how humans can latch onto an erroneous thought, and apply it in the wrong context.  This allows the fraud of religious ideas to continue, and this backwards non-thinking to flourish.     

Most people have a fuzzy notion of the immaculate conception.  They do not know the truth! No one ever heard of it until 377 A.D.  Around 1250 A.D., it was revived.  It actually refers to original sin and not the virgin birth. This an example of how Christians are mistaken in their beliefs. And of course the high priests are in no hurry to correct this fraud! For the human race to evolve beyond our childhood we must leave these fables behind!  



Every person we meet should be the source of a new exchange of values and ideas, without the fear of religious or nationalistic notions interfering with the meeting.
