Twice as Much

Can You Prove Me Wrong about

"Twice as Much in Half the Time?"

To learn any subject: learn the highlights,

and skip through many of the points-of-views to the bottom line.

By using the law of diminishing return return theory; you can expand your mind, improve your quality of life and the quality of life of everyone you meet.
No matter which task you choose, you can use this philosophy for improving the outcome.  This is especially important for perfectionists to learn.

To learn any subject, use the circle philosophy in conjunction with the law of diminishing return.  Learn the highlights of a subject, and skip through many of the points-of-views to the bottom line.
By not trying to learn every point on the 360° circle, you can look at any subject and get the answer.

A friend of mine loves to watch 3 1/2 hour football games replete with commercials. I explained to him that in 3 1/2 hours, I can learn about many subjects.  A football game is broken into four 15 minute quarters.  If you skip the commercials and only watch the four 15 minute quarters, that’s one hour.  However, each play only last 7 to 10 seconds. There are, on average, about 120 plays per game.  That’s about 12 minutes of actual action. You could watch five documentaries, minus the commercials, at 40 minutes for documentary; and still be able to see the 12 minutes of actual football.

Imagine doing this for the rest of your life.  What could you learn?

You can further this by watching the first three minutes and the last three minutes of a documentary.  You get the subject matter set up, and the conclusion of the author.  This applies to all subjects versus all-time wasting activities. You can use this trick to exponentially increase your knowledge base; therefore increasing your life’s meaning and through the wave effect everybody else around you.

This is important, because we tend to complicate things.  Just as someone asks for an answer to the name of an old movie, the first answer that “pops” into your  mind is usually the right one.  Just as the brain looks like all of the galaxies in the universe, this implies that we are tuned in the cosmic fugue.
